PRESS RELEASE
The 20th year of the “International ICT Seagulls Projects” was completed as the result of the commitment of the teams, our virtual consultancy, and the practicality of the “İmece Circles (SQC)” methodology, which proved its success as a significant methodology of distance education at all age groups.
This year 6 Turkish teams and 4 international teams registered to the project. 5 teams belonged to the Youth Education Center (SAGEM) of Sariyer Municipality, and they were elementary school students. However, due to problems with the authorities, they had to withdraw from the project. It was an unexpected situation not only for students and teachers but also for us. Sad! The last Turkish project belongs to an adult team from the Education Group of Sariyer City Council, and they planned to lead a two-year project. It is about the educational system of Turkey and will end in 2024.
Three projects from the international group belonged to High schools in India (2 teams) and Pakistan (1 team). The last one was from Nepal_ a Primary School named Junior Citizens’ Academy. I would like to share with you the project titles and the names of the teams that received awards in the K-12 age category as the ICT Seagulls Project partners. I will also share the project links for your access.
